Wedding Planners
A NECESSITY IN TODAY'S FAST PACED SOCIETY
In the last few years the wedding industry has seen a tremendous growth in wedding planners. Couples are getting married older and are looking for that something special on their wedding day. In many cases they are professionals with very little time on their hands. Enter the Wedding Planner. A consummate professional and party planner extraordinaire, but like all other services in the industry couples need to do their homework and research. A good party planner will usually have professionally designed marketing material ie. website, brochures and generally knows how to promote themselves. In many cases couples will sign on with a planner, especially if they're from out of town based solely on the above. Some wedding planners choose to specialize with mostly out of town clients. One of those planners who I have the pleasure of working with this year is Maddy from Maddy K. Weddings. Her bubbly personality, her charm and of course her knowledge of the industry is a combination of talents worthy of the title Wedding Coordinator. Couples fortunate enough to to live in the same town will want to meet the wedding planner face to face and usually the best personality and experience wins, but they must first be drawn in by a professional look and of course let's not forget the word of mouth referal. This goes a long way in any business. Lastly, a good wedding planner will have a lot of tricks up her or his sleeve, but we'll get to that part at a later date with another one of the city's professional wedding coordinators.
